Rustic Chic Inspired Shoot at Spain Ranch | Oklahoma City Wedding Photographer

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to work with a complete new set of vendors here in Oklahoma. These styled shoots are some of my favorite times to meet, work with, and become friends with other people within the wedding industry. There is so much passion in what we all do and that passion is easily seen in the effort and love these individuals put into their craft and their company.

If you have not had the pleasure of visiting or touring the Spain Ranch wedding and event venue in Tulsa, Oklahoma, you NEED to plan a trip. Spain Ranch is unique in many ways. The mature tree and open lawn, the lake and long lane, but the absolute stunner is the two venue buildings. There are two barns; while one is the classic white we have all come to love, the other is black. It is modern and daring while elegant and classic in it’s own right. It really is a must see! The bride and groom suites are spacious with so much natural light. As a photographer and hair and make up artist, this natural light is a dream!

Forever Borrowed is another vendor I was able to meet and work with during this shoot. Brandon and Starr are a husband and wife wedding planing/coordinating/rental/floral service here in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They specialize in vintage finds with a modern twist. Brandon was so easy to work with during the shoot! He was quick and efficient in his work. If there were any questions we needed answered he was there. Starr has been easy to communicate and work with which is something I truly value. If you are looking for aid in planning, design, rentals, floral and more, reach out to Starr and Brandon.

Scissortail Creative Co-op (calligraphy, design, and custom gifts) provided a full wedding suite. This is not something I invested in for my wedding. If it is in the budget, this is something that elevates your day to the next level. There is just something about the little details that I love and personalize you’re day.

And as always, the dress from Bella Rose Norman is absolutely stunning. Bella Rose is the only vendor at the shoot I have worked with in the past. One of my brides this year purchased her dress from this location and it was beautiful! The girls are always helpful and truly consider your vision and personality when it comes to helping you select a dress. I love the when companies are intentional and customer based. It makes all the distance.

I’d like to give a shout out to our incredible models also. Jacob and Heather are one of those couples that care about one another, their family, and their country. I have been blessed to work with and become friends with many of those serving our country and this couple is no exception. We laughed through the funny and even responded every time I got their names wrong. I think I probably called them each by the wrong names (Hailey and Justin) probably 20 times. Yikes! With that being admitted, I did actually run into Heather and Jacob later that week and I did not mess up their names! Haha! {This is why I build a relationship with each of my brides BEFORE the wedding instead of just showing up and meeting them on their big day.}

Thank you to Praire Rose Photography for coordinating this shoot! Coordination is something that is difficult to do on so many levels but with an incredible vendor team who pulled it all together, it was easily a day to remember.
