Hello to all and a Happy Tuesday!

Today there are a few things I want to share with you about me.

First, I love strawberry lemonade… Like, if I had to chose any one drink for forever strawberry lemonade would be tied with milk which is saying something. So, the first thing I am going to share with you in my all time FAVORITE strawberry lemonade recipe… This is the one I use multiple times a week.

Strawberry Lemonade: 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup lemon juice, 2 cups of frozen strawberries, 8 cups of water. Put everything in a blender, yes, a blender, and put that baby on high for a solid 30 seconds. Add ice and enjoy. It is seriously the best thing ever!

Second, I love my homes state of Idaho. Yes, I truly believe that Idaho has the best potatoes in the world. I will always buy Idaho potatoes if there is a chance too and my love for french fries is rooted in the love of Idaho potatoes. When I was younger my uncle used to pull up to the house with a bed full of potatoes as big a footballs or so I thought as a kid. Don’t get me wrong, they were MASSIVE. Just not quite football size. Ha! Basically potatoes will forever be the food of my dreams, french fries my forever side, and Idaho a place where a piece of my heart lies.

Lastly, I love shoes. Really any shoes. My favorite pair of shoes however is a pair of farming, black, muck boots my mom bought for me years ago in the middle of a week long rain storm when the mud was up to my knees and the cars were all getting stuck. She didn’t want me to be without proper shoes in case I got stuck. There is nothing special about these boots except for the fact that they came from my mother in a time when I need a little motherly love. They are not cute; they are clunky and bulky and not a fashion brand or anything… Just a present from my mom that have traveled the country and will continue to stay with me until after those boots have seen their last days.
