2019 Book List

I am a little behind on getting this post together because 2019 is going a million miles an hour! I think I completely missed January! YIKES!!!

Last year I set a goal for myself to read a minimum of 6 self or business development books a year. I figure if I only get 15 minutes a day to read a book for myself than this is a realistic wife, mom, and entrepreneur goal.  Any others I get in I count as a huge bonus! I know I have 14 different books but all that means is I have a good start to next years reading list if I don’t finish this year. 🙂 All 14 books on my list have come by recommendation from family, friends, and mentors. Also, because I truly believe spiritual wellness is a large part of my self development I have included the New Testament this year. This past October I made a goal to read scripture every day. It has been an incredible experience. I have continued to read it every day and look forward to increasing my spiritual development this year as well!

  14. The New Testament from the Bible

My two favorite books of 2018 and were HANDS DOWN Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey and Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki. Both of these books were recommended to my brother-in-laws as were many on my 2019 book list. As I read these two books this past year I was blown away but what I didn’t know. Shocker, right?? Well, yes. I have never been very business or financial minded but these two books put me on a road I will never look back from. I am forever grateful for new knowledge and the power it has to change lives.
